Emma Krab is a multi-genre writer and seventh generation Nebraskan. She is a recent graduate of Iowa State University's Creative Writing and Environment MFA program, and holds journalism and English degrees from the university of Nebraska-Lincoln..
As a journalist, Emma has covered a variety of health, education, climate, agriculture, public policy, and statehouse issues, with an emphasis on rural reporting and environmental issues. Her writing, often described as Neo-Western and Midwest Gothic, frequently uses history to discuss themes of rural isolation, intergenerational family, and the sacred.
